Rick Ross is set to release his book Hurricanes which talks about his rap career, how he became a drug dealer, and a correctional officer. According to sources, Hurricanes is a symbol of surviving the storms of life. In a statement, Ross says:

“My story has always been deeper than rap… With this book I wanted to go deeper than I ever have. I wanted to tell people about the life of William Leonard Roberts.”

As in a story with Rolling Stone, Ross states that he became a correctional officer after him and his best friend were indicted on drug charges. He couldn’t believe his own friend ratted him out with the drugs. The book was co-written by Neil Martinez-Belkin and is set to be released this fall on September 3, 2019 with Hanover Square Press.
