After reinventing himself and his sound, Wisconsin rapper Rob Hicks went on to release the singles “SYNERGY,” “Perception” and most recently “Bail Money” featuring BoodahDARR. Now after a minor push back, Rob Hicks releases his debut EP Paradise In Hell.
The 8 track project introduces us to his dark sound, his elastic flow, that he switches at the blink of an eye and numerous cadences. Throughout the EP he touches on many different topics from love, lust, tragedy, and triumph. As he says, “the album is one big contradiction, but it all correlates together.” The production on the project is handled by Larkin, Seym, KRS., Nate Maelz, Mike Regal, Air Kalo, and MEDASIN and features guest appearances from Trapo, Olita, Ted Park and BoodahDARR.

Perfect introduction to who Rob Hicks is as an artist and gives you a snapshot of what to expect from the rest of the project lyrically and sonically.
Introduces an entirely different feel to the EP and switches it up. The track might even have you hitting a two step real quick. Rob says he thinks this will be one of his most popular songs.
Everything about this track is perfect, from the the hook to the production and the features. Trapo hold his own keeping up with Rob bar for bar and bringing the same energy. Olita is just the icing on the cake, and the way she closes out the track is superb.
