Brooklyn and Roc Nation’s own Supa Dupa Humble is buzzing right now with his latest single“Steppin” out now, garnering almost 5 million streams to date.  The DJ-turned-rapper actually locked in his deal after dropping the single on social media some time ago, leading to him gaining the attention of Roc Nation exec who couldn’t pass  up on the record; and it has been upward movements from there.

With other projects like  “Project Pat”, off his Humble Gardens tape and “Big Daddy”, his most recent track in rotation, Supa Dupa talked about getting the album together, getting back into his DJing, venturing into acting and possibly starting his own clothing line, as his career begins to unfold before our eyes.

The energetic, crisp, uptempo voice, and overall sound sets him apart from his fellow opponents already in the game, not to mention, those working their way in. And before things got too, too busy for the kid, we wanted to catch up with Supa Dupa to talk about  his new music and learn about his story.

Check out Rapfest correspondent Jocelyn A. Rivera chopping it up with the humble guy while out and about doing some shopping at EthikNY and Daniel’s Leather in NYC the other day.
