San Antonio may still be overcoming the Hurricane Harvey aftermath, but that has not stopped the music.

According to San Antonio Current, local upcoming talent will be sharing their gifts at a popular venue. The showcase will be held this coming Saturday, September 30th at Paper Tiger. So far, the line up primarily highlights MC, and Tattoo Artist, Kree Villegas.

San AntonioThough, Villegas is more commonly known as Kree23. Also, apparently, Kree23 even hosted a Hurricane relief event last week titled, Elements of Hip Hop. So, clearly, this MC is all about transforming a negative into a positive. Further, she is known to “move a crowd”.

Villegas has traveled across state lines sharing her music too. She even mentioned the first time she knew she was in love with Hip Hop:

“There was this thing [at Brave New Voices in California] called MC Olympics… and that was the first time I rocked a fu*king crowd… that’s when I knew I loved Hip Hop…”

All those attending the San Antonio Music Showcase can also anticipate sets by AMEA, Colorblog, and Tactics.

Though, there are over seventy musicians performing total on September 30th.
