South Jersey native Sir Charles may be the cities best-kept secret. To the public eye, the rising artist is flying under the radar but he is quickly making a name for himself within the industry. Yes, Sir Charles can definitely rap but he also is a songwriter, composer, and producer, the man can do it all. He has worked with some of the industry’s best including Mary J. Blige, H.E.R, and Prince Charlez and most recently has been working very closely with Brandy on her upcoming album.

Just last week we debut his new mixtape Under The Influence: Nas Mesh which finds the Jersey spitter showing off his lyrical prowess over some of his favorite Nas instrumentals. Sir Charles is just getting started and is currently working hard at work his debut EP which is slated to drop later this year. I had the opportunity to sit down with Sir Charles and discuss his influences, if he enjoys rapping more then songwriting, his favorite Nas albums, working with Brandy and much more.

Check out the interview below and give his latest mixtape Under The Influence: Nas Mesh.
