East New York rapper, Stoned Rollers’ own William Wilson is back on his bullsh**.
Teaming up with Perrion of Hip Hop group LitBoyz for their newest single “No Sense” as the two collaborators are old skate buddies who were also under the same music management at one point or another, “He (Perrion) is one of my oldest homies, still out here killing it musically”.
After rising to musical prominence for his 2012 single “Crusin”, opening for Joey BadA$$ later that year, to dropping his critically acclaimed mixtape ‘Double Or Nothing’, and working on other projects, Wilson’s music has been featured on WorldstarHipHop, HighSnobiety, MTV, HOT 97, Complex, The Source and HYPETRAK.
Wilson tells us that the “No Sense”, however, came together with the help of Bronx native and fellow Stoned Rollers Black Dave who blessed the track with his lyrical capabilities, looping a section on the verse into a hook; and also mixing the entire production down. Dave and Wilson are currently working on a project together entitled, “Back On My Bullsh**” to be released soon, and expect a drop of their first single “Back On My Bullsh**” produced by Static Select in the near future.
But back to the topic at hand – the video to “No Sense”, Wilson who just welcomed a baby girl into the world a little over two months ago, tells us that its conception came about during a studio session where they decided to just shoot an in-studio visual to go with the single.
Been doing this thing for a minute, Wilson is in it to win it.
“My fiancé and daughter inspired me to take my craft more seriously. Every day is a blessing and I just want my music to show people there’s a light at the end of that tunnel, if your willing to work through it.” – Wilson
