Looks like T.I.‘s departure from reality television lands him in a upcoming Fox Drama directed by Jerry Bruckheimer and close to home with the title of the series called, “Atlanta’s Most Wanted”.

Reported by the Hollywood Reporter, T.I. will play the lead role of Marcus Armstrong. Armstrong is involved in both sides of the law as he a police officer apart of a vice squad and the son of a notorious criminal. Leaving T.I.’s character with life-changing choices and secrets that will be discovered throughout the series.

With outstanding previous roles in films like ‘Takers’ and his recent cop drama co-starring Jamie Foxx, ‘Sleepless’. An excited recording artist-turned-actor spoke highly of his new deal with Fox and working with Bruckheimer in his hometown. T.I. says:

“I am honored to partner with Fox and Bruckheimer on what is truly a passion project for me. It’s going to be amazing to see my city represented in this fashion.”

A script is currently in the works, but a pilot is scheduled to be shot early-2018. While a new deal with Fox, T.I. will also be working on a collaborative comedy with Kevin Hart for Showtime.

It’s most likely T.I.’s new series, ‘Atlanta’s Most Wanted’ will replace the recently cancelled ’24: Legacy’ spot in 2018.
