TGUT follows up the successful release of “Only Difference” featuring Taylor Bennett (Chance The Rapper’s brother) and Bianca Shaw, with the release of “Maybe” featuring Dutchboy.
New York based producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist, TGUT, real name Taylor Guttenberg, has achieved an international presence via work both behind the scenes and through main-stage performances around the world. Lining up with Valentine’s Day, “Maybe” exposes the passive, fleeting emotions of love and not knowing what you truly want; focusing too hard on either a career, passion projects, etc., neglecting other areas in life that linger in the back of your head.
Organically building out his fanbase through remixes he’s released back in 2017, which included Ashanti’s “Foolish”, Uglygod’s “Water”, and Rae Sremmurd’s “Swang”; all of which accumulated over a quarter million streams, opening TGUT up for the opportunity on Young Thug and 21 Savage’s “Hi-Horse’d” tour in the US at the end of 2016. And from there, putting him in the position to act as Divine Council’s official DJ on their European tour in 2017, to then touring in Asia solo in March of 2017, and starting up the “No Ends” pop up festivals across the country.
With all of the successes he has begun to achieve, TGUT is now focusing on releasing more original content in 2018 that he and his team are excited to show his fans and the rest of the world. Aside from producing and deejaying, TGUT is also creative director for the Audiomack streaming platform, building out their original content like the Migos Trap Symphony.
With a humble attitude and a solid work ethic TGUT’s music will transcend culture.
