Meek Mill send fans into the ultimate frenzy dropping his highly anticipated album after being released from prison earlier this year. His fans patiently awaited this project after he made several monumental moves for his career; Including reuniting with his previous rap-beef target, Drake , press run in regards to the unjust within the judicial system, and performances at Summer Jam and Tidal X Brooklyn, a philanthropic concert to raise awareness to fix the criminal justice system. The album titled “Championships“, hence at the redemption of his return from a victim turned advocate of judicial corruption. Through his music, he relentlessly advocates against systematic oppression and continues to be a role model for anyone facing the same challenges and to inner-city youth to avoid the path he has taken with tracks like “Oodles O’ Noodles Babies” & “Whats Free” featuring Rick Ross and Jay-Z. The Philly native gave us “Trauma” and “Respect The Game”, sustaining his story-telling roots. Meek showed limitless love to the females in Hip Hop collecting features from Cardi B, Ella Mai, and Melii, who he recently gave a shout out to on an interview with Hot 97’s Ebro. To complete this collection “Splash Warning” and “Going Bad” turns consumers all the way. Essentially this is a great album, definitely one for the books!!
