September 2017 will be a month to remember for Cool Kids fans everywhere.
The hip-hop duo of Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks, along with creative director Jimmy Regular will be premiering the first episode of their new sketch comedy show, The Shit Show, tomorrow night (9/4).
In his interview with Chicago Creatives, Regular said that, “The Shit Show was an idea I had after scrapping together the POPULAIR MIXTAPE docu-series for Mikey’s projects. I had no expectations of them being received well, but after noticing some of the episodes getting 7-10k views, I made it clear to Mikey that we should run with the idea of making a comedy show.”
After watching the 50-second clip below posted from The Cool Kids Twitter account, the show appears to be in a similar vein to Odd Future’s Loiter Squad, and Hannibal Buress and Eric Andre’s The Eric Andre Show.

In addition to having their own show on the way, after years of individual ventures and brief reconnections, the hip-hop duo will officially release their first project together as The Cool Kids since 2011’s When Fish Ride Bicycles.
Their new album, Special Edition Grandmaster Deluxe, has been set to arrive on September 15th and will include their recently released singles “Check Out” and “9:15”, featuring Jeremih. The two records seem to bring back the same great vibes and energy that the duo had in the prime of their first run during the late 2000s. And with the rest of the tracklist being full of collaborations with the likes of Buddy, Ye Ali, and Syd, it looks like those vibes will be present throughout the album.
