Timberland being the official boot of New Yorkers, the culture, and it being Timberland season now – well once Summer finally makes its grand exit, the iconic brand teamed up with Queens legend Nas for their 2017 Fall Campaign – The Legend Club.

If you haven’t been sitting underneath a rock, to promote the classic footwear company, Timberland delivered a series of animated videos featuring a cartooned Nas as the collections face.  Speaking complete facts as far as the culture is concerned, Nas says,

“New York is a very stylish place; we don’t do anything the regular way, we don’t do things to fit in. Timberland is a household name, especially where I’m from. We used to go to Steinway Street in Queens – I used to put them on layaway, I used to do whatever to make sure no one else bought that size.”

Also adding that, “Hip-hop is constantly evolving because it’s the language of the youth. All the things that matter are still there, it’s the glue, and it’s just the new generation comes and tells their story.”

With its first release on September 30th – the Volume VII FlyRoam Sport Hiker will be available for purchase exclusively at Foot Locker retail stores.  Unleashing the other volumes one by one, Nas’ cartoon replica will follow up with each boot release in a four-part Legend collection range.

For New Yorkers, or those in the Tri-State region, not unlike the Summer, the Fall is also an exciting time for all the dope gear really gets put on during this time; and one can never forget a fresh pair of Timbs to go with the ensemble.
