Hurricane Harvey has left many people in Houston to start fresh.

Havoc brought on by the weather may have hurt many in Houston, but it also has compelled compassion in many around the country. For one, as we recently shared here, Kevin Hart challenged some celebrities to step up and assist in helping Houstonians rebuild. This is a challenge many quickly accepted. Celebrities such as Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled, Chris Brown, and T.I. all answered Hart’s call.

Additionally, James Harden is said to have donated $1 million dollars to the relief efforts. According to Hip Hop DX, Harden made the announcement yesterday, September 2nd. Harden said Houston is home.

This is what the culture is and more of what it needs- cheers, to Hip Hop!
