Brooklyn rapper Danny Delavie built an impressive following in New Zealand with the success of his 2015 debut album Saved By The Bay (entirely produced by Hamilton, New Zealand’s ThiefOfBaghdad). So much so that about 80% of the thousands of SoundCloud plays accounted for on the project were amassed from New Zealand, which eventually translated into real fans (the album’s lead single “Strange” eventually blazed airwaves in the country) and lead to Delavie’s successful three-show New Zealand tour called the “High Tide Tour.”

“High Tide (Eyes Low)” is the title track from Delavie’s recently released EP, which documents some of Delavie’s experience while on the tour in 2016. Check it out below.
