DJ Khaled just scored “Another one,” no pun intended. The Miami honcho just snagged his second No. 1 album with the release of his 10th studio effort, Grateful. According to Billboard, this album had 149,000 equivalent album units with 50,000 of those sold traditionally. This is a follow-up to Khaled’s first No. 1 album, Major Key which dropped last year.
Executive produced by Khaled’s son, Asahd, this project had some major features on it from Quavo, Chance The Rapper, Lil Wayne and Justin Bieber who collaborated for the recent No. 1 single “I’m The One.” There were also appearances on there from Jay-Z, Beyonce, Nas, Travis Scott, Jadakiss, Pusha T, Bryson Tiller, Rihanna, Fat Joe and much more.
The Miami producer posted a celebratory video on his Instagram paying respect to Epic Records, We The Best, Roc Nation and most importantly his son who has been putting in over time. Congrats to DJ Khaled and his entire team.
