Since signing to Rich Forever Music, Brooklyn artist Jay Critch has earned his position as one of the best young artists out. We got the first official introduction to Jay Critch on the Rich Forever 3 compilation project and from the looks of it, Jay is already looking to leave first impressions in the past. Rich Forever Music has always had a winning formula, but with the fairly new addition of Jay Critch, they have taken the group to a whole different level that not many music groups or even labels are able to reach.
“Speak Up” is just one of many videos that we have seen from Jay Critch this year, but it’s the only one that we can guarantee to see on his first studio album set to drop this year. In “Speak Up”, Jay links up with producer Nick E Beats who also produced “Bottom Line”, which is currently the most popular effort from Jay Critch to drop this year (1 million plays in 2 weeks). In the video, directed by Rich Forever affiliate Louie Knows, we can see Jay enjoying life in the hills with his long time friend and business partner AlBundy, flowing ridiculously.
Even though Jay Critch has been successful since he has been on the scene, this new video signals a new direction musically for the Brooklyn emcee. He is known for his fast delivery with relatable bars and witty punch lines, usually we can see flashes of each skillset within each song but in “Speak Up” Jay displays his complete artistry setting a very promising tone for his new project.
“He said that he talking money, speak up homie nobody heard you”
Jay Critch has made a lot happen for himself and it will be exciting to see how he utilizes his new opportunity with Rich Forever. Rich Forever 3 is out now on all platforms and features the break out track “Did It Again”. A promising young rapper, he continues to showcase his talents with each new offering. Be on the look out for Jay’s first studio recorded project set to drop later this year.
