In 2014 rapper Rob Hicks dropped his debut mixtape and since then the relatively unknown rapper has been on the rise. In 2015 he inked a deal with the independent record label “Thriftsoul.” Since signing, Rob has been very selective in the music he releases and dropped two very potent tracks, “Perception” and “SYNERGY” late last year. The two tracks landed him his first distribution deal and earned him comparisons to Danny Brown and Kendrick Lamar.
With his upcoming debut EP Paradise In Hell slated to release this summer, the Wisconsin spitter drops his new single “Bail Money” featuring BoodahDARR. The Nate Maelz produced banger finds Rob Hicks showing off his effortless flow, numerous cadences, and lyrical skill. With only 3 tracks under his belt, the Wisconsin rapper is showing that he is a force to be reckoned and Paradise In Hell will only strengthen that claim.
