The mayor of Medellin, Federico Gutierrez is not feeling Wiz Khalifa after he  visited the grave site of Pablo Escobar to pay respects.

Wiz went to Colombia for a show he had scheduled. While there, he posted a photo via Instagram of Escobar’s grave in which he decorated with a set of flowers and captioned with the gift emoji. There was one photo of Wiz standing next to the tomb and another of him posing in front of a property that Escobar almost lost his life at in the 1980’s.

Federico Gutierrez says Wiz Khalifa’s tribute was “disrespectful” and that Wiz will not be invited back to Columbia. He is really furious. Gutierrez says, “That scoundrel, instead of bringing flowers to Pablo Escobar, he should have brought flowers to the victims of violence in this city. He must offer an apology to the city.”

People are not happy about this act either. Lots of people took to Twitter to show their frustration with Wiz. One person tweeted, “This is not cool. @wizkhalifa Pablo Escobar is a murderer dude, did you not get the memo on that?” Another person tweeted, “.@wizkhalifa Colombians aren’t proud as you are of a murder and narco like Pablo Escobar. Show more respect. Colombia isn’t Pablo Escobar…”

Wiz took to his Instagram after all the backlash and posted a photo of himself with the caption reading, “Didn’t mean to offend anyone with my personal activities in Colombia but I’m glad we came and got work done and everyone was safe. Peace and love.”
