Born and raised in Yonkers, New York, the 23-year-old artist, Prada Mama, has made a name for herself with only a few singles out. Her distinctive sound and wordplay set her apart from many artists of her generation as she stays true to the lyrical fundamental of hip-hop while still creating upbeat, energetic music.

Prada Mama has been writing poetry and songs since she was a child. Her art transformed into rap when she was in high school. She was inspired by all of the greats-Lil Kim, biggie smalls, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Jadakiss, Nicki Minaj, Kanye, Jay z, meek mill and newer artists like Joey bada$$ and Travis Scott. Rapping was a safe space from Prada’s rough childhood and teenage years. After recording for fun in trap and bedroom studios Prada decided to take her talents seriously. Soon after dropping a few singles on SoundCloud, she was recruited into a highly respected group in Yonkers called Lost Boro.

She is now premiering her first record called “Steep-Tech” listen below.
